Our Group

Our questions could be:
Is music responsible for the growth, (development) of children or humans.
How does music influcene our education? etc....

Ja but the idea is clear

Theory about Debating (TaD)

My resources for this theory are:
The text of Jo Reichertz "Qualitativ Sozial Research" in German " Qualitative Sozialforschung",
point 2:
http://www.qualitative-research.net/fqs-texte/2-00/2-00reichertz-d.htm
and the things I have heard from J.Hopfner this morning in the lecture of general pedagogics. (Allgemeine Pädagogik)

So thats my theory:
I) 4 ideal types of argueing

Wenn I do a declaration about reality, I have to watch out which arguments I use for it.
Jo Reichertz differentiates 4 ideal types of used arguments in siences.
1) The empiric type
-> The sentence:" All swans are white" is guilty because I have seen just white swans at the lake.
2) The rational type
-> This Argument uses logic and rationality to convine the others of the own reality. For example: 1 + 1 = 2 because we humans have decided that 1 + 1 = 2 is true.
3) The authority type
-> Something I say is guilty, because a very important person said it too.
For example: God exists, because it stands in the bible. Or the theory of relativity is true because Einstein said it, and he was a genious.
4) The own ability to convince others type
-> This way of argueing is the easiest way. Something is true, because I say it, (+in a way that convinces you.)

II) The difference between written and spoken words.

J.Hopfner, said today in the lecture, that the written word is a stronger argument than the spoken ones. The reason is, that the written word allways can be proved by reading the text the own who arguments has her/his insights (Erkenntnisse) from.
The same happens her. I do a theory which is argueing with something, someone said in a lecture.
It is not sure if
a) I understood J.Hopfner right
b) I got all importent information
c) Im telling you exactly the same as she told me.
At this point of view the written word realy is the stronger argument.

Closuring I could say, that there is a hierachy between this different ideal types of debating.
1) The written word is allway stronger than the spoken word
2) Empiric - Rational - Authority - Ability to convince others, in exactly this order.
I think sience it self is not sure if the empiric type comes before or afterwards the rational one, but I dont want to write about this battle yet.

Football Fanculture and Education

I want to concret my PS Work theme.
I have the plan to leave the thing with the religion comperhention away, and just write about
Fanculture and Education.
For that I want to ask me the question,
How people become football fans and if they are educated to it.
Or in other words: How people get educated to football.

So I want to write about
1) What is football fan culture?
2) How does football influence the live of people?
3) How to become a football fan?
(Is it possible to become a "real fan" without education?)

Thats my concept. I dont know if I can realise it yet.

Body Ritual among the Naciema

First I want to say, Im raging. I just have kopied almost the hole Handappart Map, (because there are really interessting articels in it!!) but, I failed to check if the machine does the thing I want too. In short words: It did not! Damit,

anyway I read the articel one time, and thats my first impressions about it.

I Body Ritual among the Nacirema
These people (the Naciremian) have a very strange way of doing their rituals. (But! they have some in comperhention to us). Anyway it is a very sadistic and masochistic way of carring for their own healthy.
For example: when the medicine man stabs his patients with needls or the holy mouth man "jabs an awl into an exposed nerve". As I read the following sentence I could not belive it." As part of this ceremony, women bake their heads in a small ovens for about an our." Can you imagine this?
Nevertheless I think its kind of interessting to see, that here are people who have recognised that pain is a central part of life.

How I understand a "Blog"

a) What is a Blog?
Id like to say in short words, what a blog in my understanding (and in my english) is.
eBlog is a Internet portal by google, which helps me to do my own internet homepae in a very easy way. With just a few clicks I can design my own Online: Research Diary, Newspaper or whatever Id like to use my blog for.
b) The Danger of Blogs (or the internet in general)
Id also like to talk about a problem of eBlog. Everything I post in the blog goes puplic. So it is open for the whole world. Everyone can read it. (who has internet of course). There is allready a trend of firm bosses to check the "virtual personalities" of people first, before they hire their personal staff.
What Im tryin to say, is that everyone who uses eBlog(My Space, StudiVz) should really carefully think about the things of what he or she is showing the world of him or herself. It is our own reasbonsibility that people dont get a wrong picture of us, just because they have seen things of us in the internet.

Memo at me:
Ive to write a bit more about "Virtual Personalities"

Education is...

... to say other people what is good for them, in the mask of (or hidden behind) the own interests.

Football, Religion and Education

My main question on that topic is, how become people football fans.
And how influences football the life of this people.
There are some quiet interessting books about it.
For example "Fever Pitch - The Story of a Fan" by Nick Hornby

I want to write down the story how I become a football fan, do a (vergleich - Ill check it ill promisse, something with compare I guess), between Religion and Football, and finaly ask the question how much education is reasonable for people to belive in god or in football.

Yeah thats the Idea.
What do you guys outside think about it?
Do you understand what i mean?

Refused

Is a swedisch Hardcore Punk Band and in one of there songs it says "We need New Noise."
And exactly that happend today in the HS. 6.01 at the Gender Studies (lehrverantstaltung i have to look that up)

The Professor didnt came for about 20 Minutes and I thougt about making noise in the house. So I wrote a paper with the sentence "Who sings with me Thoughts are Free" (Die Gedanken sind Frei in German). Than I put it on the Overhead, and Finaly we sung almost all together the first (Strophe) of Thoughts are Free. Later I check up the Lyriks and Blog it under this post.

It would be very fun to make a kind of a KULT out of this thing.
